Devprasad Reddy

His journey, marked by both success and setbacks, demonstrates a remarkable ability to adapt and thrive amidst changing circumstances. Reddy's career began in the late 1980s with M/s Amrutha Estates Private Limited, where he showcased his talent by designing a prestigious 110-room five-star hotel, "Amrutha Castle" in Hyderabad. He later expanded his expertise into property development, establishing "Casa Estate Private Limited" in 1995.  Casa's successful completion of residential and commercial complexes in Bangalore solidified his position as a respected figure in the industry. However, Reddy's entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture into hospitality with the development of "Casa Deep Woods," a boutique resort near Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. This promising project, however, faced unforeseen challenges when the Supreme Court shut down all resorts in Bokkapuram in 2018 due to environmental concerns. This setback forced Reddy to confront a difficult reality, effectively ending his venture into hospitality. 

 

Yet, rather than succumbing to despondency, Reddy, at the age of 60, displayed remarkable tenacity. Inspired by the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, he embarked on a new path, entering the world of stock markets. Despite initial losses, he diligently educated himself and developed a successful strategy in derivatives, achieving a consistent return.  His expertise in identifying promising small and mid-cap stocks further highlighted his financial acumen. This new endeavor was not just a pursuit of personal financial success, but also an opportunity to leverage his knowledge and guide others.  From 2022 to 2023, Reddy dedicated his time to helping his family and friends navigate financial planning and investment strategies, successfully identifying suitable mutual funds to achieve their goals.  This positive impact led him to pursue his certification as a Mutual Fund Distributor (MFD), which he achieved in June 2024. Reddy's commitment to continuous learning and dedication to his family and friends are commendable.  His approach, characterized by a willingness to adapt, learn, and share his expertise, is indeed inspiring.  

 

However,  Reddy's dedication to his profession, architecture, remained unwavering.  He returned to his roots, establishing  "Studio15" in 2021,  a high-end residential design firm based in London, alongside his architect son, Hersch Reddy.
